In the last 24 hours as per the reports, there are new 178 new COVID cases have been reported in Odisha. There is a marginal increase of 18 cases from 160 on Sunday. The state had reported 173 cases on Saturday, 286 on Friday, 195 on Thursday, and 255 on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR department, 105 of the new infections are from quarantine and 73 local contacts. Among them, 37 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 85 cases followed by 15 in Sambalpur. Twelve districts reported nil cases.

While the affected tally has touched 10,51,752, Odisha now has 1,898 active cases.
