Today is the 12th anniversary of the horrific 26/11 Mumbai Terror attack where a group of Pakistani terrorists landed in Mumbai. Ten Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan came by sea route, killed 166 people which included 18 security personnel and injured several citizens during the 60-hour attack.
According to the reports, around 166 people were killed in the attack, which lasted for four days in 2008. The 26/11 Mumbai attack changed the whole scenario of the National security towards India. The Let terrorist originated from Karachi, Pakistan arrived in Mumbai via sea route at around 8:15 pm on 26th November. The terrorists were armed with grenades, AK-47 rifles, GPS set and other things. The terrorist attacked first at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST). Then their attack to Cama Hospital was intervened because of the signal by the staff members of the hospital.

Ajmal Kasab who was held and later hanged on 21st November 2012 was the only surviving terrorist. Another group of terrorists attacked at the Trident Hotel where two of them entered the entryway and started spattering bullets at the guards and staff members at the reception.
They held many foreign hostages and on 28th November when the attack ended around 143 hostages were rescued alive while NSG commandos discovered 24 bodies. Four terrorists who were heavily armed attack at Taj Hotel and held the hostages for 60 hours. By the security forces Abdul Rehman Bada, Abu Ali, Shoib and Umer were counterpoised.
For the tributes to all the victims who lost their lives and Martyred security personnel, Mumbai police organize an event, and few people will be attended as due to the COVID-19 at newly build a memorial at the Police headquarters in South Mumbai.
