A Tribal museum has been recently inagurated in Dhenkanal Town by the District Magistrate and Collector Mr. Bhumesh Chandra Behera. Dhenkanal Town is full of lush greenery and gardens many tourist attractions to roll this, the addition of the Tribal museum will enhance it’s beauty and will showcase the glorious history.
The museum is situated in the heart of the town near the SDPO office.
The museum exhibits the old ornaments, attires, weapons, musical instruments etc used by the tribals.
Abhilash Sahu, a visitor at the museum said, ” this museum is small but it contains many historical stuffs, one can easily explore and learn many things about the past history, I would like to thank the concern authority for setting up the museum.”
Also a Tribal Education Resource Center has been set-up there.
Anyone can easily go there and explore the museum, there is no ticket for the same.
