CISCE suspends ICSE 10th and 12th exams

While the coronavirus infection is on the rise in the country, it is having an impact on the education system. The Council for the Indian Schools Certificate Examination (CISCE) has announced the suspension of the ICSE 10th and ICSE Twelfth Board examinations in view of the Covid 19.

According to the Central Board of Education, a decision may be taken in the first week of June for a new examination date. The ICSE Class X exams were scheduled to take place between May 7 and June 6, as scheduled. Similarly, the ICSE Class XII exams are scheduled to take place from April 6 to June 16.

However, it has been reported that a new date may be announced in the first week of June after the outbreak. The decision comes two days after the CBSE canceled the 10th exam and suspended the Class XII exam. Meanwhile, the 10th and +2 board exams have been suspended in various states, while the state government has made similar announcements in Odisha.
