The outline of the Baleshwar railway station will change. Rail services will be provided to the beneficiaries in modern design. Union Railway Minister Piyush Goel has given the green light after Union Minister Pratap Sarangi handed over the demand letter to the Railway Minister.
Thousands of commuters travel to other states every day from the railway station in Baleshwar district. The district has a large number of businesses, including the DRDO test range, various factories, CIPET, medical colleges, satellite centers, ITIs, fish processing plants, and various government offices. On January 7, Union Minister Pratap Sarangi wrote a letter to Union Railway Minister Piyush Goel regarding the need to modernize the station and provide various facilities as it is important for rail traffic.
The Indian Oil warehouse is relocated near the station and handed over to the Railway Department, which demanded the modernization of the station. Goel promised to take it seriously. It is learned that the Railway Development Department has instructed the Land Development Officer to improve and modernize his promises. They even wrote a letter to Union Minister Pratap Sarangi informing him of the plan to modernize the railway station. Upon receiving the letter, Mr. Sadangi thanked the Railway Minister.
