Petrol and diesel prices have been rising steadily in the country. Oil prices rose for the fourth day in a row on Friday. In the capital Delhi today, petrol was hiked by 28 paise per liter and diesel by 31 paise per liter. Oil prices have been rising steadily since the election results came out in nine states and one union territory. India is also affected by rising crude oil prices in the international market.
On Friday, petrol in the national capital was priced at Rs 81.73 per liter and diesel at Rs 91.27 per liter. Similarly, Mumbai, the financial capital of the country, has a petrol price of Rs 97.61 and a diesel price of Rs 88.82. According to a report, petrol in the country could go up to Rs 5.50 per liter and diesel to Rs 3 per liter.
In the capital Bhubaneswar, petrol price was hiked by 28 paise to Rs 91.96 per liter on Friday. In Bhubaneswar, petrol prices were hiked by 28 paise on Thursday, 18 paise on Wednesday and 15 paise on Tuesday. Similarly, diesel prices in Bhubaneswar rose by 34 paise on Friday to Rs 89.03 per liter. In Bhubaneswar, diesel prices were hiked by 31 paise on Thursday.
