Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to form a “Covid Crisis Management Committee” with leaders of all political parties in the state to fight Covid-19 at the village and ward levels.
The Union Minister tweeted this today after discussing various steps being taken by the Government of India to cope properly with Covid-19 in Odisha.
“The next 15 days will be a challenging time for all of us,” Pradhan tweeted. Therefore, I urge the Chief Minister to include prominent members of the society, volunteers and leaders of all political parties in the fight against Covid-19 at the grassroots level. He also tweeted to the Chief Minister to form a “Covid Crisis Management Committee” with the leaders of all political parties at all villages and wards in the state to combat and properly manage Covid-19.
The Chief Minister informed me about how vaccines can be made available in Odisha. On how to get more vaccines, remedies, drugs and rapid antigen test kits to the state. I informed the Chief Minister that I had spoken to Union health minister Dr. Harshavardhan and Union Minister Mansukh Mandavia.
Now, in the wake of the Covid epidemic, the Indian government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is taking steps to assist the state government as much as possible. With the help of co-operation and coordination, Odisha and India can win the fight against the epidemic. “We can win together,” Pradhan tweeted.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, in a matter of days, spoke to the heads of state-run Central State Enterprises (PSUs) in Odisha, state government officials, health officials, banking and railway officials on increasing of of Tests, Ventilators, Vaccines and Oxygen in the state.
