These side effects after taking the vaccine are signs of danger, could be fatal: Central government warns

Some people are complaining of side effects after taking the vaccine. Some in the UK who have taken the Oxford vaccine have had blood clotting problems. In India, too, there is confusion over the side effects of the Kovisild vaccine. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued an advisory to health workers and people taking the vaccine. It has been asked to detect blood clots symptoms within 20 days.

“If you have severe headaches, chest pains, body aches, vomiting, diarrhea, and difficulty breathing, you should report it to the vaccination center,” the advisory said. If red spots appear on any part of the body other than the injection site, it should be identified. If you dont have a migraine problem and have headaches and vomiting, it is a serious side effect.

In addition, if any organ does not work after the vaccination, eye pain and mental depression should be treated immediately. It is important to inform the doctor at the vaccination center about all these symptoms.

The committee on side effects said that very few blood clot problems in India were associated with Covishield. The blood clot problem is 0.61 percent per 10 million doses. As compared to the UK, blood clotting problems are very rare in India. However, this problem has not yet been seen in Covaxin, manufactured by Bharat Biotech. According to the report, the number of side effects and deaths after vaccination is 617. As of March 29, there have been 180 deaths in the country since vaccination.

Notably, Covishield has a 70 percent of effectiveness against the virus. Taking a second dose a month later increases this ability to 90 percent.
