On Thursday, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the ICU bed with 100 ventilators at the Steel Post Graduate Institute and Super Specialty Hospital at the Rourkela Steel Plant. It will be launched in virtual mode at 11:30 a.m.
On March 21, 2021, the President dedicated the IPGI and the Super Specialty Hospital to the nation. Under the direction of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the hospital was immediately provided with ICU beds with 100 ventilators. Union Minister of for Steel Fagan Singh Kulaste, Health Minister Nab Das, Sundargarh MP Joel Oram and all the MLAs of the district are scheduled to attend the function.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday inaugurated the 200-bed Covid Center at Barnapur in West Bengal. Built by Isco Steel, the oxygen-attached 200-beds have been unveiled. More than 300 more beds are being set up soon.
