5T & Nabin Odisha Chairman Reviews Construction Of Kalamandal, Akhyara Bhoomi

On Sunday morning, VK Pandian, the Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, paid a visit to the 2,000-seat Kalamandal, which is located close to Sainik School in Bhubaneswar. IDCO is building Kalamandal, the largest convention center owned by the Government of Odisha, for the Department of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture. MD IDCO was instructed to finish this project in four months during the review. In collaboration with the Culture Department, Pandian proposed that Kalamandal’s interior be designed with consideration for the aesthetics of Odisha’s past and culture.

Later, the 5T Chairman went to the location where the Works Department is working on the Akhyara Bhoomi. The first World Odia Language Conference, which takes place in Bhubaneswar from February 3 to 5, will be honored at the Akhyara Bhoomi. The Akhyara Bhoomi will also have a commemorative arch made of khondalite stone that reflects the Kalinga architectural style. It will serve as a draw for young people, serving as a reminder of the rich history of the classical Odia language.

It was decided during the review to leave the basement open for parking for visitors to the cultural convention center and to allow room for future building expansion. In order to create an eco-friendly campus atmosphere, the 5T Chairman also recommended planting trees in the area.
