5T Secy On Bolangir Visit, Reviews Proposed & Ongoing Devlopmental Projects

Secretary to the CM (5T) VK Pandian is visiting the Balangir District for two days at the chief minister’s request. He looked through the plan to modernize the Tusura airstrip and gave Collector the go-ahead to create a DPR for the development of the airstrip.

He then went to the Samalei Temple in Tusura and spoke with the Sebayats, Trustee members, and the public about how to develop the temple holistically while also providing improved facilities for the devotees. He also solicited recommendations on many elements of the temple’s transformation and growth. He gave the district government the order to create a DPR for the facilities for pilgrims and the temple.

He heard the complaints of the general public from various organizations and people in Patnagarh and Belpada Block, Titilagarh sub division. He stated that the administration’s first goal was to address complaints, as stated by the Chief Minister. He promised to quickly resolve their complaints.

He went through the $1020 million mega-piped water delivery projects that are now being implemented in the Patnagarh, Titlagarh, Saintala, Gudvela, Balangir, Puintala, and Deogaon blocks. The projects will be put into service in stages beginning in December 2024. By October, Balangir and Titlagarh municipalities’ water supply upgrade projects should be finished.

The 5T Secretary also evaluated the Upper Lanth Project and the enlargement of the ayacut area of the Lower Indra Project, both of which are ongoing in-stream storage structures projects in the Titlagarh subdivision costing Rs 950 crores. When Kumuda Pahada and the Lord Dhabaleswar temple were considered, Pandian gave the order to create a master plan for all-around development.

The Harishankar temple was his next stop. reviewed the ongoing, Rs 55 crores-costly project for the development of the temple area. December 2023 will see the project’s completion.
