The Xavier Institute of Management (XIM) University successfully conducted its eighth convocation ceremony in the hybrid model for its Post Graduate and Doctoral Programmes. The number of students receiving the degrees for Doctoral and Post Graduate programs is 5 and 630 respectively.
According to the reports, a total of 33 medals were won by meritorious students for their academic distinction. Chairman & Managing Director of ITC Limited Sanjiv Puri attended the event as chief guest. During the convocation, XIM University conferred an honorary Doctoral Degree upon Sanjiv Puri.
In his address to the graduating students, Sanjiv Puri said, “The world that you are entering today is the world with unprecedented change and unimagined magnitude of uncertainty. You should cope with all challenges and utilize all the opportunities in the days to come.”
Among the eminent dignitaries present were the Chairman, Board of Governors of XIM University Fr. Jerome Cutinha S.J., Emeritus Chairman, Board of Governors of the University Rajive Kaul, Vice-Chancellor, XIM University Fr. Antony R Uvari S.J., Registrar Fr.S Antony Raj, Chief Finance Officer of XIM University Fr. V Arockia Das, Deans of different schools and officials of the University.
