Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited celebrated its annual meet with a theme of “GARUDA UDAAN-2023” with much excitement at KIMS auditorium on 5th February 2023. More than 630 participants from 450 authorised learning centres along with District Lead Coordinators participated in the event. Dr. Manoranjan Puthal, Managing Director, OKCL inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamps and explained the importance, purpose and uniqueness of the network programme & the activities undertaken by everyone in the district. He also elaborated the vision & growth strategy for the year 2023.
In this ceremony Prof. (Dr.) Arka Kumar Das Mohapatra, Vice Chancellor, Odisha State Open University and Prof. (Dr.) Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor of KIIT University graced the occasion as chief guest & guest of honour respectively. The Corporate Officials of OKCL presented & explained various courses of OKCL enabling employment/ Self-employment & entrepreneurship. These courses are OS-CIT, OS-CIT ‘A’, OS-CIT ‘A+’, OCOC, Achievers’ Series, e-Content for students of the different ages. Prof. (Dr.) Arka Kumar Das Mohapatra highly praised different courses of OKCL & also inspired all participants through his heart-touching words. Prof. (Dr.) Samant appreciated the efforts of OKCL partners & wished them to achieve more success in future as entrepreneurs. Dr.Puthal thoroughly discussed on Sustainable Development Goals & responsibilities of every participants towards their achievement. Smt. Sasmita Panda, Company Secretary & HR Head, OKCL managed the programme & it extended with vote of thanks to the guest and invitees.
The event ended with exciting cultural programme performed by artistes and students pursuing various OKCL courses.
