Bhubaneswar Unit 1 Market Shut For Four Days

For the next four days, all of the Bhubaneswar Unit 1 Market stores will be closed. Due to the non-fulfilment of their requests, the Unit-1 Vegetable Vendors’ Association has chosen to keep the market closed. According to the group, their demands for a parking space, a drainage system, and the removal of encroaching vegetation were unanswered.

Additionally, the regular dealers expressed their displeasure with the growing roving population and temporary sellers. Customers also avoid going to markets since they can’t leave their cars parked on the streetside.

Earlier, the Market Building had been shut for 17 days in a similar way due to the dispute between the makeshift vendors and permanent traders for a long time. Now, a similar situation has arisen in the vegetable market over parking issues and encroachment.
