On 06 March 2024, a pivotal moment in road safety advocacy unfolded at the Convention Hall of Lok Seva Bhawan, Odisha Secratariate under the aegis of Shri Naveen Patnaik, CM of Odisha with the Odisha National Cadet Corps (NCC) Directorate and the Commerce & Transport Department of Odisha signing a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to spearhead the ‘Junior Rakshak’ initiative.

With the signing of the MoU, by Col Sagar Mohanty, Director Odisha NCC, in the presence of Minister of State Transport Dept, Development Commisioner, Principal Secretary of Transport, CMD Police Housing Society & Transport Commissioner of Odisha, embarking on a transformative journey towards a future where road accidents are minimized, lives are saved, and communities thrive.

Together, we pledge to spread awareness, instill responsible behaviour, and empower the youth to become the frontline defenders of road safety.
