On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Telangana Congress government was collecting “RR tax” from contractors and businesses and sending a portion of this illicit money to Delhi. Speaking at a public gathering in the Zaheerabad Lok Sabha constituency, Prime Minister Modi urged Telanganans to vote for the BJP’s nominees in order to stop the “RR tax,” without mentioning any specific candidates. He also issued a warning, saying that Telangana will be completely destroyed and unable to rise again if the “RR tax” is not stopped.
It is important to note that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s name is abbreviated as RR. He declared, “RR tax is destroying Telangana, just as the TRS/BRS destroyed it earlier.” “RRR” was an extremely successful movie, the Prime Minister stated, noting that the Telugu film industry produced numerous hits. The Telangana Congress just passed an RR tax. Although “RRR” brought honour to the nation, the RR tax is a disgrace.
Telangana’s contractors and industrialists are being instructed to pay RR tax through the backdoor, which amounts to a percentage of their earnings. There are claims that Delhi is receiving a certain portion of this illegal money.
In addition, he claimed that Congress has discovered a new means of plundering the populace since it is considering enacting an inheritance tax, which would deduct 55% of peoples’ life savings. The Prime Minister further referred to the BRS and the Congress as participants in a “corruption racket.” The opposition Congress has vowed to look into the BRS’s corruption and the largest swindle that was carried out in Kaleshwaram. However, PM Modi said that after assuming office, it just sat on those files. Additionally, he asserted that the investigation into the cash-for-vote issue stalled while the BRS was in control.
