Dikhyaa Mohanty Noted Boney Kapoor, a Bollywood producer, asserted that the right to free expression does not include the right to make socially unacceptable remarks. In response to a question on Ranveer Allahbadia’s recent offensive comments, the seasoned producer stated, “I don’t support what he did at all. There must be restrictions. Additionally, self-censorship is necessary. Kapoor went on to clarify that having the right to free speech does not grant you the ability to speak things that are not acceptable in society.
“Within your home, you talk whatever you want to talk but on social platforms, you need to be careful and you need to be disciplined,” added the Bollywood producer.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi received a courtesy call from Kapoor and his star son Arjun Kapoor on Wednesday at his chamber in the state Assembly. The Chief Minister was asked to serve as the chief guest at the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL)-2025.
