Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Energy, met with senior officials from the Energy Department on Friday to explore ways to promote infrastructural development and renewable energy in Odisha. Attendees were Rajesh Shirole, Sanjay Sen, Advisor to the Energy Department, Trilochan Panda, MD (GRIDCO), Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, CEO (OREDA), and Vishal Dev, Principal Secretary (Energy Department).
In line with Odisha’s objective of being a pioneer in green power and sustainability, the conversations focused on innovations in renewable energy and the development of infrastructure. Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief Minister Singh Deo underlined the state’s dedication to clean energy, saying, “We are committed to shaping Odisha into a hub of green power and sustainability with a shared vision for renewable energy innovation and infrastructure expansion.”
The gathering is an important step in Odisha’s attempts to increase energy efficiency, support renewable energy projects, and draw in investments for the clean energy industry.
