Dhenkanal Collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay Reviews Developmental Works in Remote Areas of Kankadahad Block

Dhenkanal – Dhenkanal Collector & District Magistrate Somesh Kumar Upadhyay visited several remote villages of Kankadahad block on Wednesday.

He visited Ekul, Sekul, Kote and Putipal village under Kankadahad block and reviewed the implementation and effectiveness of various governmental schemes and developmental programs at the grassroots level.

He was accompanied by Block Development Officer Yashobanta Dehury, Tahasildar Soudamini Nayak, Officer-in-Charge of Kankadahad Police Station Kalpana Behera and other Block Level officials.

Shri Upadhyay interacted with the local habitants and reviewed whether all the government schemes are being effectively implemented in the area or not.

He also interacted with the students of Aganwadi centres and Schools there and reviewed how the education system is functioning there.

The Collector also visited and reviewed the block level bus stand, Akansha Multipurpose Production and Markerting Centre under ABP scheme and the Kankadahad Block Primary Health Centre (PHC) . He also inspected the 200 bed Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential School located at Dangapal village of the block.
