Dhenkanal – To prevent citizens from falling victim to cyber fraud, a state-wide Cyber Security Awareness Campaign is currently underway. As part of this initiative, a special awareness programme was organized today at the Art and Craft Centre, Dhenkanal.
The event was graced by District Magistrate and Collector of Dhenkanal Ashish Ishwar Patil. Chairperson of Dhenkanal Municipality, Smt. Jayanti Patra attended the event as the Guest of Honour. Superintendent of Police Abhinav Sonkar delivered the welcome address.
On this occasion, the police administration presented certificates of appreciation to principals, heads of institutions, and individuals who played an active role in promoting cyber safety awareness. Members of Sura Sangeet Anusthan performed awareness-based songs on cyber safety. SP Sonkar also administered a pledge on how to stay protected from cyber fraud.
Students from various schools and colleges, teachers, administrative officers, social workers, and media representatives attended the programme. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Additional Superintendent of Police Suryamani Pradhan.
