Odisha’s young aqua-tech startup celebrates a year of recognition with investors, farmer partners and employees in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, 6 October 2026: Aquapulse, the Bhubaneswar-based aqua-tech startup founded in 2023, held its Annual Meet 2026 at Novotel, Bhubaneswar on Sunday, 4th October. The day brought together the company’s investors, aquapreneurs from Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, partners and employees for a business review, a technology launch and an evening of recognition.
The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the Aquapulse Technology Stack, a set of four connected platforms that follow vannamei shrimp from the pond to the port. The Pond Tech Stack reads pond health before harvest, ShrimPro AI keeps a record for every pond through the culture cycle, Nexus · ATIP turns that record into trade intelligence, and the Export Compliance Stack prepares the documents each shipment needs. Together they give buyers a single, traceable record of where their shrimp came from.
The company also marked two recognitions earned this year. Aquapulse was named a finalist in the aquaculture category of the Responsible Seafood Innovation Awards 2026 at the Responsible Seafood Summit in Bangkok, and it has been certified a Great Place To Work for the second year in a row.
Guests of honour at the event were Mr. Shashwat S Goyal of NABVENTURES Limited, Ms. Arushi Mehta of IAN Alpha Fund, Mr. Laxmikant Bohra of Growthally, Mr. Amey Sawant of Nabkisan Finance Limited and Ms. Nishi Agarwal of PwC.
“Aquapulse began with a simple belief: a farmer with a small pond deserves the same science, the same market and the same respect as the largest exporter. What we unveiled today was built by every person in this room,” said Abhishek Dwivedy, Co-Founder, Managing Director and CEO.
“Every buyer asks one question: can you show me where this shrimp came from? With this technology, our answer is yes, from the pond to the port, in one record,” said Abhilash Dwivedy, Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer.
At the Pond to Port Excellence Awards, the company honoured aquapreneurs from Bhadrak in Odisha and West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh, along with employees across procurement, production, exports, finance, people and technology. Emirates Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. received the Logistics Partner Award. Principal Advisor Mr. Manoranjan Kumar Patra was inducted into the Aquapulse Hall of Fame for his guidance since the company’s earliest days.
The day began with a management review in which every team presented its progress and plans, and closed with cultural performances and live music.
