Odisha will write a new destiny “from mines to microchips,” according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s prediction on Sunday. Speaking upon the opening of the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) cutting-edge Data Center and Cybersecurity Training Institute at Jatni, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, the Prime Minister claimed that the establishment of a “double-engine” government in Odisha had given growth fresh impetus.

For Viksit Bharat, Eastern India is becoming a powerful growth engine. Development in Odisha has accelerated with the establishment of the double-engine government. Both technology and natural resources are boosting Odisha’s economy. While attempts are being made to create a new semiconductor and electronics ecosystem, mineral-based sectors are growing, according to Modi.

“You mark my words, Odisha is on course for writing a new future from mines to microchips,” Modi said.

The PM pointed out that new investment opportunities are emerging in the state in data centres and advanced computing which will open many doors for the youth.

“I assure the young people of Odisha that the big dreams they have envisioned will certainly be fulfilled. We will do it,” he said.

“Mahaprabhu ke ashirbad se, aj Bhubaneswar naya Bharat ko ek naya sansthan de raha hai” is how Modi began his address. “By the blessings of Mahaprabhu, Bhubaneswar today is offering new India a new institution.” “Jai Jagannath” was how he concluded his speech.
