Actor Rajnikanth had been hospitalized at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad due to severe fluctuation in his blood pressure.
As per the Apollo Hospitals’ official statement, it stated that Rajnikanth had been hospitalized in the morning. He was shooting for a movie in Hyderabad for the last ten days, and a couple of people on the sets tested positive for Coronavirus. Even he was tested positive on 22nd December and then later recovered and tested negative. After which, he self-isolated himself and was monitored continuously.
The statement further stated that Rajnikanth did not have any symptoms of Covid-19; his Blood Pressure showed severe fluctuations and needed further evaluation, for which he has been admitted to the hospital. He will be investigated and monitored closely in the hospital till his blood pressure settles down before being discharged. Apart from fluctuating blood pressure and exhaustion, he does not have any other symptoms and is hemodynamically stable. Rajnikanth was shooting for his Tamil film ‘Annaatthe’ in Hyderabad on 14th December. And earlier this week, four crew members tested positive for COVID-19.
