Keeping in view of the cyclonic storm ‘Yaas’ Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Dhenkanal distributed biscuits, bread, cake and fruit packets in different wards of Dhenkanal town. This distribution drive was carried out under the leadership of Pankaj Nayak, the district convenor of the party.
Food packets were distributed among people taking shelters in roadside and people those who are living in kutcha mud houses and vulnerable to the cyclonic storm in different wards of Dhenkanal town. The members of the party aware the people about the cyclone and it’s effects and with the help of the district administration they were shifted to different cyclone shelters.
Many senior members and other officials of the party were present during the drive. All the party workers present during the drive were encouraged to actively help the people of the district those who are facing problem due to the cyclone.
