JioPhone Next, the made-for-India smartphone jointly designed by Jio and Google will hit stores on Diwali. The company has marketed as the most affordable smartphone in the world, one can buy it by paying a down payment of Rs 1,999 and the rest paid via easy EMI over 18/24 months.
According to the company’s official statement, it stated that the JioPhone Next can also be purchased upfront without any finance facility for Rs 6499 which makes the entry price extremely affordable and almost equal to a feature phone price. JioMart Digital’s network of more than 30,000 retail partners are empowered to provide the JioPhone Next with paperless digital financing option, extending to the remotest corners of the country.
It further elaborated the features by stating that the phone has easy access and content in 10 languages for users who might not be able to read content in their language, with the tap on a button they can translate what’s on their screen, and even have it read back to them in their own language.
The phone is also equipped with a smart and powerful camera that supports various photography modes such as Portrait Mode, allowing users to capture photos with an automatically blurred background. Night Mode allows users to capture photos even under low light conditions. The camera also features custom India-themed Lenses to enhance selfies with emotions and festivities.
