Subhechcha Ganguly The onset of covid pandemic has made a new way of working very common amongst the people. This type of working which enables to maintain social distance and work from the proximity of home is termed as Work From Home .
If we closely look into this culture we would understand the benefits and shortcomings of the work from Home Culture. The Work from Home Culture has made people a bit anxious as this concept was new for a lot of people. A lot of people agreed it was a comparitively safer option as people could stay at a safe distance and work. This method was also budget friendly for a lot of people who had to travel outstation for work. When we had a conversation with few people who were single child we came to know work from home was a feasible option for them as they had to take care of their parents . If we look at the other side a lot of companies wanted people who would be interested in doing Work from Home as this would increase company profit and they could save on travel expenses and other allowances.
Though there are a lot of merits if we take in consideration the work from home mode several people ,object for this mode of working as people felt it difficult as they were not able to attend proper training sessions or socialize for that matter. This became one of the hindrances . Moreover a lot of people faced problem as they felt their attention span decreased . Thus the methodology work from home suited for a lot of people creating a tiff in minds of few.
