The cyclonic storm which was formed over the Bay Of Bengal will move towards Odisha and will hit Puri coast during the evening hours of December 4. The report has been confirmed by IMD. After hitting the coast, the cyclone Jawad will move towards north and north east and will enter into the territories of West Bengal and Bangladesh.
“After hitting the coast, the system may again divert to sea. There’s also a possibility of the cyclonic system not hitting the coast if it changes its path further. Wind speed likely to remain around 90-100kmph,” Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena informed.

According to the further reports of IMD, the maximum windspeed of the cyclone Jawad will be around `100Kmph and consistent windspeed of 80-90 kmph will be there throughout the storm. However, the windspeed will gradually decrease once it hits Odisha’s coast.
