Severe Cold Wave Continues To Grip Odisha

Severe Cold Wave continues to grip over all of Odisha. The cold wave is expect to last the whole of this week. According to the weather reports, the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar experienced temperatures of 12.6 and 12.8 degree celsius at the minimum level, lesser than almost one degree celsius than the previous day.

However, the minimum temperatures went below 10 degree celsius in many parts of Odisha yesterday. For the second consecutive day, Daringbadi holds the lowest temperature at minimum level with 7 degree celsius. Other places where the night temperature dipped below 10 degrees Celsius were Keonjhar (9.2), Titlagarh (9.3), Phulbani (9) and Bhawanipatna (9.9).

Night temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius were recorded at Baripada (11.2), Balasore (12), Jharsuguda (10.6), Hirakud (12.1), Chandbali (11.5), Sambalpur (12.9), Talcher (12), Bolangir (13), Sonepur (10.1), Angul (12), Cuttack (12.6), Boudh (13), Bhubaneswar (12.8), Paradip (14.5), Koraput (10.5), Rayagada (14) and Paralakhemundi (14).
