Four players from Odisha have been called up to the 66-member Junior Indian Women’s Hockey Camp at SAI, Bengaluru for their stellar performance in the Junior Nationals last year.
According to the reports, the four players from Odisha are – Madhuri Kindo, Jyoti Chhatri, Nikita Toppo and Mamita Oram.
While Jyoti, Nikita and Mamita are cadets of the Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High-Performance Centre, goalkeeper Madhuri Kindo resides at the State Sports Hostel in Panposh, Rourkela. The State Government and Sports Department have wished the shortlisted players the very best for the camp.
