The chilly cold weather continue to grip over the entire state of Odisha. While, the weather reports predicted a rise in daily temperature for the next few days, it hasn’t happened according to it. Therefore, there has been no significant rise in the night temperatures.
Phulbani, Daringbadi and G Udayagiri were the coldest places in the state, recording night temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius. Kirei recorded a minimum temperature of 9.7 degrees Celsius, while Similiguda recorded 9.1 degrees Celsius.
Places that recorded night temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius are Sundergarh (12.5), Baripada (12.6), Balasore (13.7), Jharsuguda (11.6), Keonjhar (11), Ranital (13.5), Hirakud (13), Sambalpur (13.7), Mahisapat (13.4), Jajpur (14.2), Cuttack (14), Chandbali (15), Sonepur (10.5), Nuapada (13.3), Titlagarh (13.5), Angul (14), Bhubaneswar (14), Bhawanipatna (10.8), Chatrapur (13), Paralakhemundi (13), Koraput (10.5) and Malkangiri (13.5).
