Several parts of Odisha expect moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in the next five days. The news has been confirmed by IMD Bhubaneshwar.
In the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Nawarangpur during the same period.
