Nora Fatehi files a defamation suit against Jackqueline Fernandez

Actress Nora Fatehi sued Jacqueline Fernandez for defamation, alleging that among other things since they both work in the same field and come from similar backgrounds, Fernandez “sought to criminally defame her in order to harm her career to serve her personal interests.”In Patiala Court, Nora Fatehi filed a lawsuit for allegedly defamatory remarks she allegedly made against a fellow actor and 15 media outlets. She charged that the media outlets had “carried on and circulated” Fernandez’s comments. Furthermore, Fatehi alleged that the media outlets and the actor she claimed to be her adversary “were acting in connivance with each other.”

She claims in the petition submitted through her attorney that “a conspiracy by the accused No. 1 (Jacqueline Fernandez) was conceived and carried out by the abovementioned action to assure the complainant’s financial, social, and personal downfall.” Nora is still a person of interest and a witness even though Jacqueline is a suspect in the money laundering case against con artist Sukesh Chandrashekar and has often been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).The hearing in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case against actor Jacqueline Fernandez and “conman” Sukesh Chandrashekar was postponed by a Delhi court on Monday for one week. After learning from the solicitor representing Fernandez that she has not yet received full copies of the charge sheet and other documents from the Enforcement Directorate, Special Judge Shailendra Malik postponed the case till December 20. (ED).
