The State Vigilance registered a record number of convictions in DA cases during the year 2022.
According to the figures shared by Vigilance Directorate on Tuesday, the conviction rate of Vigilance in disproportionate assets cases during 2022 was 77%, which was the highest in a decade.
Commenting on the feat, Additional DG Vigilance said, YK Jethwa, said, “We have taken a number of steps to strengthen prosecution of vigilance cases.”
“In 2022, our conviction rate in DA cases was 77%, which was the highest in a decade. Odisha Vigilance is committed to taking strong actions against corrupt practices in future,” he added.
