Sandeep Reddy Vanga, an animal director, was spotted in Andhra Pradesh at the Tirumala shrine. According to a story by The Indian Express, the director made an appearance at the Tirumala temple dressed as a bald man, offering the god his hair. Following the huge box office success of his most recent film, he made this offering.
Sandeep is seen on the grounds of the Tirumala shrine in a video that is making the rounds on X. His bald head and clean-shaven appearance draw the most attention, even though he’s wearing a dark blue kurta with a pink scarf. Since his 2017 directorial debut, Arjun Reddy, he has consistently been portrayed with a lot of hair on his head and face. In fact, all of Sandeep’s protagonists—Vijay Deverakonda as Arjun Reddy, Shahid Kapoor as Kabir Singh (2019), or Ranbir Kapoor as Rannvijay Singh in last year’s Animal—are portrayed in similar ways.
Sandeep also strikes up some photos with supporters in the video. When asked about his upcoming film, Sandeep revealed that Spirit, starring Telugu superstar Prabhas, is it.
