After Two Years Of Separation, Dhanush, Aishwarya Rajinikanth File For Divorce

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the director, and actor-filmmaker Dhanush have filed for divorce. The pair, according to media reports, recently filed a plea for divorce under Section 13B of The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (divorce by mutual consent) at a Chennai family court. Dhanush and Aishwarya had declared their intention to part ways in January 2022.

Taking to social media, Dhanush had written: “Eighteen years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other… The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. “Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better.” Dhanush and Aishwarya, who got married in 2004, are parents to two sons — Yatra and Linga.

Regarding her career, Aishwarya returned to directing with “Lal Salaam,” in which her father Rajinikanth made a lengthy cameo. “Captain Miller,” an action-adventure movie produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and directed by Arun Matheswaran, is Dhanush’s most recent release.
