On Sunday, the Ayushman Bhav Swachhata Hi Seva campaign and AIIMS Bhubaneswar organized a Swachhata Shrama Dan (cleanliness drive) at Deras Dam. The AIIMS Bhubaneswar is committed to conserving and protecting the natural beauty of this well-known attractive tourist destination. Students, instructors, and staff from the national institute joined together for this extensive cleaning endeavor under the direction of Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is “wholeheartedly committed to maintaining garbage-free surroundings” in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s goal of a cleaner environment. Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas commented on the event, saying, “We are actively participating in the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign to ensure the cleanliness of both our academic institution and the surrounding areas.”

AIIMS Bhubaneswar went a step further by educating visitors and residents on the value of maintaining the Deras Dam’s cleanliness. At the Prime Minister’s request, the country participated in a one-hour cleaning campaign today, and AIIMS BHUBANESWAR gave one hour of Shramdaan (volunteer work) to the effort. Notably, kids and staff also cleaned a restroom near the dam, providing an excellent example.

Along with Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, other doctors actively participated in the campaign, including DDA(I/c) Rasmi Ranjan Sethy, Medical Superintendent Dr. Dillip Kumar Parida, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohanty, Dr. Soubhagya Kumar Jena, Dr. Prabhas Ranjan Tripathy, Dr. Ashok Kumar Jena, and other doctors.

A press release from the national institute on Sunday stated that AIIMS Bhubaneswar “remains committed to contributing to the cleanliness and preservation of our natural treasures and encourages all members of society to actively participate in such initiatives.”
