Two Indians and a Pakistani national were killed and six others wounded following a suspected drone attack at Abu Dhabi’s new international airport on January 17.
According to the official reports, Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement claimed it had carried out an attack on United Arab Emirates (UAE) after authorities in the Gulf state reported two fires in Abu Dhabi which were possibly caused by drones.
In an official statement, Abu Dhabi police said “An explosion involving three oil tankers in Abu Dhabi and a fire in the construction site of the emirate’s new airport on Monday were potentially caused by drones.”

The incident comes in the backdrop of tensions between Houthis and a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia and backed by the UAE.
