Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar says he wants to work on a variety of projects, but there is a condition: his movies must appeal to families. No matter the genre—Kumar has dabbled in several of them—whether it is a social drama or a psycho-thriller, the actor said he wants people to watch his movies without second thoughts.”I want to try my hand at different types of content. I don’t want to form any kind of image. But I ensure one thing that the films I do, they have to be family entertainers”Kumar stated in an interview with PTI.In addition to his previous run of films like “Atrangi Re,” “Sooryavanshi,” “Bell Bottom,” “Good Newwz,” and “Mission Mangal,” actor Kumar’s forthcoming release “Raksha Bandhan” is yet another family-friendly film. “Raksha Bandhan” is a crucial movie for “society and for our families,” he remarked. It is about sibling relationships, he continued. Kumar plays Raju, a sweetshop owner who is trying to arrange the nuptials of his four younger sisters, in the Aanand L Rai-directed film.
