Alia Bhatt gearing for her producing debut

At a time when the Hindi film industry appeared to be in a slump, with multiple big-budget movies failing to perform well, Alia Bhatt delivered a smash with Gangubai Kathiawadi. T Alia will be the special guest at Express Adda on Monday.Alia Bhatt, the daughter of director-producer Mahesh Bhatt and actor Soni Razdan, is making her producing debut with Darlings, which will be available on Netflix on August 5. She will co-star with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the Hollywood thriller Heart of Stone, directed by British filmmaker Tom Harper, and her much-anticipated superhero picture, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, will be released in September.Alia will be in conversation with Anant Goenka, executive director of the Indian Express Group, and Shubhra Gupta, film critic for The Indian Express, at the Express Adda. The Express Adda is a series of informal meetings hosted by the Indian Express Group that highlight individuals at the forefront of change.
