All cities to be now linked with Bande Bharat Express

These trains will significantly connect a lot of tourism and pilgrimage sites.Since there are more than 4000 cities in India, each with a population of between 1 lakh and 3 crore, Prime Minister Modi declared that “the day is not far when Vande Bharat will connect the country’s cities.”

The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, produces these first domestic “semi high speed” trains in India.Along with changing the service’s colours and adding Vande Metro and sleeper options, which have already started to be offered on many lines, the authorities are preparing to deploy these services in 2024.
