Anita Advani slams Rajesh Khanna’s family amid property row: ‘Karma will come back’

Anita Advani, who was once linked romantically with Bollywood’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna, has accused his family of abandoning him during his most troubled years while inheriting his entire property after his death. Speaking on REEL Meet REAL, she alleged that Khanna lived in deep isolation after his separation from Dimple Kapadia in 1982, with “everything going completely out of control.”

“Everyone abandoned him. He was stuck—no divorce, no resolution. Yet the family ended up with his entire property. That in itself is a big story,” Anita claimed, while warning them about the consequences of “karma.”

Referring to a recent Supreme Court statement, she said the earlier order against her “holds no weight” and reaffirmed her fight for a share in Khanna’s legacy. “No one can take anything with them after they go. Why cheat like this? Every relationship deserves respect. Karma comes around on its own,” she added.

The legal dispute over Khanna’s estate remains ongoing as Anita continues her challenge.

Rajesh Khanna, who passed away on 18 July 2012 at the age of 69, rose to unparalleled stardom in the 1970s but spent his final years in solitude at his Mumbai bungalow, Aashirwad. Despite their separation, Dimple Kapadia returned to care for him in his last days as his health deteriorated. His demise marked the end of an era in Indian cinema.
