Born with a penchant for commerce and management, Arup Kumar Banerjee pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree before earning a Diploma in Business Management from the esteemed Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Mr. Banerjee’s professional career began with IFB Industries Limited, where he held multiple positions, gaining extensive experience in management and operations. In 1995, he transitioned to IFB Agro Industries Ltd., a move that would mark the beginning of a transformative era for the company. Recognizing his exceptional capabilities, he was appointed Whole-time Director in 2001 and, by 2008, was elevated to the role of Managing Director. His ascent continued, and in 2015, he took on the mantle of Vice Chairman and Managing Director.
