Cricketing fraternity woke up with a devastating news today. Moreover, it is the Australian cricketing fans who are getting huge setbacks every month. As cricketing fans were mourning the death of Australian spin legend Shane Warne, today the fans are shocked by the sudden demise of their dashing middle order all-rounder Andrew Symonds.
Symonds passed away at late hours of Saturday night in a freak single car accident. As per the reports, the emergency services tried to revive Symonds and his driver but they couldn’t as they received severe injuries as their car rolled over from the road.
Symonds played 198 ODIs and 26 test matches for Australia. He was also the most expensive foreign player in the inaugural session of IPL in 2008. Symonds is left behind with his wife and his two children. May his soul rest in peace.
