Authors Role in Human Life

Authors play a significant role in human life. Written words are more effective than spoken words, sometimes. Author is an individual who writes, expresses through words – something most of the people are incapable of doing. The pen is mightier than the sword, they say. Human life is a series of events, mundane and special, stringed together or not.

During times of turmoil and darkness, words can light up a dark room. In Indian history, the struggle for independence was highly fueled by revolutionary authors and poets. Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s “Ananda math “lent India the slogan ‘Vande Mataram ‘, besides the song itself as well.

The civilization that was once in deep slumber finally woke up, opening eyes to Enlightenment. In Russia, Leo Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoyevsky wrought great havoc in the world of Russian literature. Numerous revolutions have stemmed from words, and words have silenced issues which are worldwide. Effective pieces of literature can create a big impact. Therefore, authors play a significant role in human life- each and everything can be highly altered or effected.
