The Bengaluru Traffic Police is winning hearts on social media for its unique and amazing idea to raise awareness on heart health issues. In a bid to raise awareness on heart health issues, the City Traffic Police has decided to display a red-heart shaped stop traffic sign.
The love-shaped stop and go signs will be displayed in several traffic lights across Bengaluru City of Karnataka between October 15 and October 25, said Jt CP Traffic, R Gowda.
At least 20 junctions across the tech capital have been selected where the traffic lights will have a glowing red heart as the stop signal. Moreover, the police have decided to use banners and pamphlets for the spread of awareness.
Manipal Hospitals tweeted, “On the occasion of World Heart Day, Manipal Hospitals installed innovations to encourage Bangalore to be a ‘heart smart city’.”
