While Theatres all around India opened from the first week of November till the end of December, until COVID third wave stuck, there was only one Bollywood movie that came out victorious at Box Office. It was none other than Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar in lead. After that Bollywood has lost its charm as it is releasing more content-oriented flicks that audiences are not interested to watch in theatres. Instead, they would love to watch it on OTT platforms after a couple of months.
That is the reason we see that Pushpa, Spiderman, and Sooryavanshi are churning out big numbers at the box office. People in India are now only interested to see larger-than-life pictures entertaining masala action pictures where Bollywood is lacking behind. However, the sinking ship can be only saved by superstar Akshay Kumar. Moreover, his recent trailer Bachhchan Paandey seems to be the anchor for saving the ship name Bollywood.

The trailer features Akshay Kumar in the titular role who is seen sporting a quirky look. The over three-minute trailer featured Khiladi Kumar in the role of a deadly gangster, while Kriti happens to be a filmmaker yearning to make a film on Bachchhan Paandey. What follows in the trailer is a series of hilarious events with some thrilling twists which will leave the audience wanting for more. Apart from Akshay and Kriti, Bachchan Pandey will also star Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Sanjay Mishra, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi in key roles.
The movie has all the elements which can be the audience to the theatres. It has comedy, entertainment, masala, and action which audiences are craving after the pandemic. Let’s hope Bachchhan Paandey revives Bollywood on big screens.
