Completing her schooling and +2 Science education within the confines of her district, she soon transcended the boundaries of her hometown and marched in pursuit of her dreams. With an insatiable hunger for learning, she embarked on a journey that would reshape her future.
After her intermediate studies, Lopamudra joined Berhampur Women’s Polytechnic, immersing herself in the rich realm of knowledge. Simultaneously, she began her career at prestigious establishments such as Hotel Oberoi and ITC, gaining invaluable experience across diverse departments ranging from sales and marketing to customer service. Her dedication did not go unnoticed, capturing the attention of her those around her and earning her a life-altering scholarship opportunity.
With boundless ambition propelling her forward, Lopamudra seized the chance to pursue higher education in the United Kingdom. The venerable halls of Luton University, which would later transform into Bedfordshire, became her sanctuary. Despite being born into an orthodox family of Odisha, she defied convention and forged her own path, embracing a world of cross-cultural experiences that transcended borders. It was within this global milieu that she discovered her true calling.
Europe became the canvas upon which Lopamudra painted the united colours of her professional journey. Employed as an HR professional at Alumil a Greek company and later at Texnokat, she fearlessly traversed new frontiers, further focusing her efforts on international business in the Middle East, and Indian subcontinent closing deals in many JV’s mergers and acquisition for Texnokat. Her expertise and tenacity were recognized far and wide, cementing her reputation as a force to be reckoned with.
However, destiny beckoned her back to her roots, leading her to India. Here, she joined forces with Sonalika Tractor, spearheading transformative CSR activities that left an indelible mark on society. Yet, ever the wanderer, she soon returned to Rayagada, her ancestral homeland. Since 2019, she has proudly taken the helm as the CSR, CR & Sustainability head of Hindalco, an esteemed company dedicated to empowering the youth and fostering financial independence within her motherland.
Lopamudra’s contributions are immeasurable, as she tirelessly labors on numerous sustainable strategic projects. As the CSR, Corporate Relations & Sustainability head, her visionary prowess shines through, crafting meticulously designed plans and initiatives.
