Bhubaneswar-Guwahati direct flights to start from New Year

Budget airline IndiGo in India has stated that starting in the new year of 2023, there would be direct flights between Bhubaneswar and Guwahati.

Another piece of good news for air travellers from Odisha is the impending launch of direct flights between Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, and Guwahati, the largest city in Assam.

Guwahati City.com alerted people of this via its official Twitter account.The direct flight IndiGo 6E 6971 will leave the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 2.45 and land in the northeastern city at 4.20, according to the airline’s official website. Similar to the outbound flight, the return flight, IndiGo 6574, would leave Guwahati at 4.50 and arrive in Bhubaneswar at 6.45.

There will be direct flights available every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday in both directions. It should be noted that IndiGo has been operating connecting flights between Bhubaneswar and Guwahati for a while now.The airline offers three different air travel pricing packages, including Saver, Flexi Plus, and Super 6E.IndiaOne Air announced on Friday that it would begin operating flights between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore in Odisha on October 31.

Another development is that beginning on October 30, 2022, AirAsia will operate flights between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi. The timetable states that direct flights will leave New Delhi every day at 10.35 am. At 12:45 p.m., it will touch down at Bhubaneswar’s airport. The return flight will depart from Bhubaneswar at 8.20 p.m. and arrive in New Delhi at 10.25 p.m.
