It was the month of November that Cinema Halls finally opened after two long years of hiatus due to the deadly COVID 19 wave. Yes, of course, there were tries to open cinema halls in between these times but everything went on a failure note. However, as COVID was coming to normalcy, cinema halls in PAN India level opened either to full or 50 per cent capacity and the magic of movies started to show yet again.
Alas, it was short lasted, just within 15 days of December things became from good to worst. Unfortunately, India came into the grip of the third wave and Omicron threat and just within a few days cases are now raised to 5000 to 90000. Thereby, many state governments either had to shut down the cinema halls or work at very little capacity.
Thereby towards the end of last year, the much-anticipated movie Jersey was postponed indefinitely. Moreover, the biggest movie of 2022, RRR was also postponed just at the start of the new year. Now, as per the latest official information, all anticipated movies releases of January have been postponed which includes Radhe Shyam, Prithviraj Chauhan And Attack.
The trend doesn’t seem good and it seems like movies of February can also get postponed due to COVID third wave. However, safety is the first concern right now. So stay indoors and mask up and be protected if you require to go out.
