In a shocking news development, superfast train Konark Express has ran over 5 people in Andhra Pradesh. Out of 5 people, four people were men and one was a woman. The five people deboarded from another train which stopped midway from the railway station and couldn’t see the Konark Express approaching from the other side of the track. As a result, they were run over by the train who was at its full speed.

According to officials, the five were the passengers of the Secunderabad-Guwahati Superfast Express, which had stopped midway at a village in Srikakulam district. They got off the train and were on the next railway track when they were run over by the Bhubaneshwar-bound Konark Express coming from the opposite direction.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed grief over the accident. He directed the district authorities to provide relief and ensure proper medical care to the injured.
